'December Fun' At Summit's Reeves-Reed Arboretum: See Upcoming Events
In the month of December, the arboretum is hosting a Festival of Trees, cookie baking events, afternoon tea sessions and much more.

SUMMIT, NJ — From afternoon teas to baking holiday cookies, Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit has tons of events going on in the month of December.
While some of the arboretum's events have sold out, there are still many programs that are open for registration and will get you into the holiday spirt.

12/21 - Winter Solstice Campfire Celebration (families w/children ages 4+)
The Festival of Trees on Dec. 11 is an outdoor winter festival that celebrates Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas and the Winter Solstice. The day’s activities will include arts and crafts, games, stories, musical entertainment, a story walk, photo opportunities with Santa, as well as food vendors and a holiday market.

You can also tour the arboretum's festival trees located throughout the grounds, which are all decorated by local non-profits, families, school and scout groups, as well as local businesses.
