Fiesta Latina To Be Held On Summit Village Green
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the fiesta will include Latin food trucks and live performances this September.

SUMMIT, NJ — In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month this September, Summit will hold its annual Fiesta Latina on the Village Green this year.
Hosted by the Summit Department of Community Programs, Fiesta Latina will be held Friday, Sept. 16 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the Village Green at 356 Broad Street.
All citizens are invited to attend the free community event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which technically begins on Sept. 15. This date is significant because it is the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala Honduras and Nicaragua.

Attendees can enjoy musical and dance performances, Latin food trucks and cultural demonstrations at Fiesta Latina.
From 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. there will be dance and cultural demonstrations from different local groups, and from 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. a band will perform on the main stage, playing music from Latin and South America.
