'Hot Summer Nights Concert Series' Coming To Summit Village Green
Live bands, movies, dance parties and food trucks are some things Summit residents can look forward to this summer.
SUMMIT, NJ — Summit residents can look forward to spending their "hot summer nights" on the Village Green, as several live bands and movies are scheduled for July and August.
Presented by Investors Bank, the 2022 Hot Summer Nights Concert Series will feature a variety of bands on the Village Green on Tuesday nights during July and August.
This year’s lineup includes The Nerds on July 12, Priceless on July 19, The Counterfeiters on July 26, The Little Mermen on August 9 and Brian Kirk & the Jirks on August 16.

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and will be accompanied by food trucks and free ice cream, courtesy of
Investors Bank.
The second night of the concert series, Tuesday, July 19, will serves as Community Night —welcoming local non-profit organizations to share their mission with the Summit community on the Village Green during the concert.

The 2022 Screen on the Green Movie Series will also take place on the Green Thursday nights in July and August. The series will feature "Encanto" on July 7, "Soul" on July 14, "Space Jam" on July 21, "Luca" on July 28, and "Paw Patrol 2" on August 4.
Each night, a family dance party will begin at 7:15 p.m., and the movie will be shown at dark.
Attendees can purchase food from the featured food truck of the week at each movie screening. The rain date for each night of the series will take place the following Monday.
All concert and movie attendees are asked to bring their own blankets and chairs. Admission to all concerts and movies is free. All events held by the City of Summit are alcohol and tobacco-free events.
