How Many Inches Of Snow Is Summit Getting, And When?
Forecasters predict Union County will get several inches of snow, beginning Friday and going into Saturday.

SUMMIT, NJ — Snow flurries have already started this morning, but heavier snow is expected to come Friday night into Saturday.
Union County is under a Winter Storm Watch, with five to ten inches of snow predicted throughout the county. The storm is expected to begin around 7 p.m. on Friday and continue until 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Friday
A 30 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 33. Light and variable wind.

Friday Night
Snow, mainly after 10pm. Low around 17. Wind chill values between 5 and 15. North wind 7 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Saturday
Snow, mainly before 1pm. High near 22. Wind chill values between zero and 5. Blustery, with a north wind 18 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Saturday Night
Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 10. Wind chill values between -5 and zero. Northwest wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
