That first year, 400 communities in 23 states participated. Last year’s 28th Annual National Night Out involved 37.0 million people in communities from all 50 states. Over 15,500 communities are expected to participate this year. The City of Summit is proud to be one of those communities. It’s a wonderful opportunity for communities to promote police co-partnerships, crime prevention and neighborhood camaraderie.

Chief Robert Weck urges Summit’s residents to “Join the Summit Police Department in observance of this great national event”.
