Connie Rostiac and Joan Cummings, the event’s co-chairwomen, have selected 26 local artisans and exhibitors who will sell handmade
items and gifts for men, women and children ranging from clothing, hats,
scarves, totes, accessories, jewelry, soaps, candy, invitations, stationery and
holiday decor, to a large selection of china, crystal and collectibles donated
by Thursday Morning Club members. In addition
to a committee of 35 members assisting Rostiac and Cummings, all 249 members of
the club will be donating their time and will bake goods for the event.
“La Patisserie” will sell homemade pastries, cookies, pies and
loaf breads while “Le Bistro” will serve lunch made by the club’s catering
department from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day for $15. “Restaurants
Plus” will offer opportunities for a gift certificate to a restaurant.
