Letter to the Editor: Holiday Thanks from Summit Downtown, Inc.

Dear Editor,

On behalf of . (SDI) we would like to thank everyone who has helped us “Celebrate the Season” in downtown Summit this December.

Many thanks to the for allowing Santa to land on the roof and greet all of the children in their building, the for providing the hook and ladder truck to assist Santa in descending from the roof, Thomas Murray III, (aka St. Nick), Tony Melchionna,  SDI Trustee in charge of the event and his staff from , Mark Wadmond for taking the children’s photos with Santa, , Chamber Choir led by Wayne Mallette,  Brass Quintet and Flute Ensemble under the direction of Steven Rapp, Summit P.A.L. for refreshments, for providing ice sculptor, Jimmy’s Artistic Creations, Mayor Jordan Glatt and Mayor-Elect Ellen Dickson for lighting our beautiful tree, The Square Yard for hosting the Patchwork Puppets Theatre shows and , sponsor of “Celebrate the Season.”

We hope all of you have a Happy Holiday Season and a Wonderful New Year!
