Letter to the Editor: Vote Dr. Robert Rubino onto the Summit Common Council

Rob understands the financial and economic environment we live in.

I full heartedly endorse Dr. Robert Rubino’s candidacy for Summit’s Common Council and urge his election.

I’ve known Dr. Rubino , his wife Susan, and his family for well over a decade.  From a professional standpoint, Rob brings a rare combination of professional expertise and business common sense.  As a board trained obstetrician and gynecologist, Rob obviously brings the intellect and energy required for Council.  But, Rob is not just a doctor, he's also founder of the Rubino Ob/Gyn Group, a fast growing successful group of physicians and support staff.  To build a successful business the way he has takes a sharp eye for organizational and financial skills, both qualities that will be essential to lead Summit.  As a job creator and business builder, Rob understands the financial and economic environment we live in.  Summit needs a proven, pragmatic, successful team builder like Dr. Rubino as it prioritizes and manages its various constraints and opportunities.

On a personal level, Rob Rubino is of the highest level of integrity and ethics.  This is an era when Summit must be sure that its publicly elected officers are honest and fair, and they will lead our City in a transparent and law abiding manner.  Summit can be proud of the Rubino family.

I like that Susan and Rob are sending their kids to our public school system.  This gives them firsthand knowledge of and commitment to the most important institution in our town.

Most importantly, I like the fact that Rob Rubino takes the long term view.  Whether it involves developing his medical expertise, growing his business, or raising his family, Rob consistently makes decisions with long term goals and objectives firmly in mind.

In sum, join me in supporting Dr. Rob Rubino for Summit Common Council in the upcoming election.  He brings a proven track record of accomplishment, vision and energy, exactly what we need.  Thank you.

Sincerely,
David G. Dietze
