Medical Emergency Prompts Police Response At Summit Middle School
The medical emergency took place at Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School Wednesday morning, police said.

SUMMIT, NJ — Summit Police officers are responding to a medical emergency at Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School Wednesday morning.
Police said there is no danger or threat to the public or to any persons in the school building at this time.
Update: Laurene Callander told Patch that as per protocol, students and staff sheltered-in-place. She said the situation was addressed and has been resolved.
