The Nerds And The 'Jirks' To Give Concerts In Summit Soon
Against name-calling? They don't care. Two final summer concerts are scheduled for Downtown Summit: Brian Kirk And The Jerks, and The Nerds.
SUMMIT, NJ — The band Brian Kirk and the Jirks will bring the sounds of the Jersey shore to Summit in a live concert Tuesday night, and the cover band "The Nerds" will perform their rescheduled show in September.
Brian Kirk and the Jirks will perform Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. at Summit's Village Green. The green is located at 356 Broad St. The show is free.
And the popular cover band "The Nerds," whose show was postponed earlier due to predicted thunderstorms, will perform there on Sept. 28.

Brian Kirk & the Jirks describe themselves as "a premium 9- piece band specializing in interactive, high-energy music, that will rival any concert you've attended." They play everything from rock to jazz to funk. Find out more here at jirks.com, of course.
