• Cosmetic Procedure Clinic Brings Location To Summit (patch.com) — Residents in Summit now have a new option for cosmetic treatments as LaserAway opens a location at 351 Springfield Avenue, offering laser hair removal and other aesthetic dermatology services. The clinic features non- and minimally invasive procedures performed by medical professionals, and local clients can already schedule online consultations and appointments.
   

• Threat Leads To Shelter-In-Place At Union County Schools: Police (patch.com) — Summit Police say Brayton Elementary and Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School briefly went into shelter-in-place Thursday while officers investigated a phoned-in threat believed to originate within the city. The orders were lifted once a suspect was identified and taken into custody, and classes continued, with officials emphasizing cooperation between the police department and Board of Education.
