Poll: What Do You Think of Summit's Public Art?

Recent pieces adorn the Village Green, what do you think about Star Burst?

Since 2004 the Mayor's Partnership for Public Art, or Summit Public Art, has been on a mission to make art a part of the fabric of the city. Art installations adorn places all over the city from City Hall to the Village Green. This year two works by renowned sculptor Tom Holmes are the latest additions to the city’s rotating collection of public art.

According to the city website for Summit Public Art the works are provided through donations and private grants. In 2010 the group raised over $175,000 to bring projects to Summit.

But what do residents think of the art? Are you happy with the objects you pass by everyday? Do they add to the city’s beauty?
