Animal life and viewing animals in their interactions with one another provides a huge source of inspiration for art projects. The unfiltered images seen with animals and nature tell the story, so children and young adult students gain much pleasure from interpreting these specific messages through their art. Brennan enthusiastically states, “Teaching students is an extremely rewarding experience because the skills my students learn with me truly builds an inner confidence as they create a masterpiece inspired by their own imagination”.

Brennan’s sculptural works encompass arenas of design distinguished by her trademark of naïve animal imagery.  She strives to inspire her students to reach in themselves and find the spark of imagination that fuels the drive for individualized accomplishment. “I have seen children who struggle in the school environment thrive in my art classes because it enables them to find their center and their self confidence starts to shine," she says. "Teaching is very rewarding because it helps the child tap into their creative flow and their enthusiasm feeds mine.”
