Summit Police Say An Apartment Was Burglarized, A Spare Tire Stolen From A Vehicle, And Another Vehicle Damaged

2/12 – 1138 hrs., report of damage to a vehicle while it was parked in the Summit Middle School parking lot, discovered at 3 p.m., 2/10/15. Damage consistent with that of someone using a key or knife to make scratches in the vehicle’s paint.

2/14 – 1345 hrs., Vinson, Darrius B., 43, of Summit, NJ, arrested at Kent Place Blvd. for Contempt of Court

2/16 – 0743 hrs., report of theft of spare tire valued at $500 from a vehicle while it was parked at a Broad Street car dealership sometime between 7:30 p.m., 2/13/15 and 7 a.m., this date.

2/18 – 1346 hrs., report of burglary and theft to a Mountain Avenue apartment sometime during the morning hours on this date. Unknown what may have been stolen at this time.
