• $200K In Grants Awarded To Historic Summit Attraction (patch.com) — Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit has secured nearly $200,000 in grants to bolster its historic gardens, buildings, and extensive educational programming. The funding will support staff salaries, new technology, building upgrades, and improved signage, helping the arboretum remain a key cultural and environmental resource for Summit residents and visitors.
   

• Five titles guide hosts West Orange to team title at Tim Groves Holiday Tournament (nj.com subscription) — West Orange dominated the Tim Groves Holiday Tournament, but Summit/Chatham wrestler George Pijut also figured into the action, wrestling in the 106-pound bracket. While he was pinned by state qualifier Richie Breitweiser in the final, his appearance highlights Summit/Chatham’s presence in a strong regional wrestling field that included teams from across North and Central Jersey.
