Summit’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt Coming Later This Month

Summit PAL and the department of community programs are set to host the annual Easter egg hunt later in March. Here's what to know:

SUMMIT, NJ - Summit’s Police Athletic League and the Summit Department of Community Programs are set to host the annual Easter egg race later in March, the city said.

This year’s race will be held on Saturday, March 25 at the Village Green (356 Broad Street).

The festivities will start at 1 p.m., complete with arts and crafts, music, games, and a magic show, city officials said.

Eggs hunts will begin promptly at 1:45 p.m., with three races separated by age. Categories are as follows: children two years old and younger, ages three to four and ages five to eight.

Families will be able to take photos with the Easter Bunny and collect prizes following the races.

Attendees are required to BYOB - that is, bring your own basket - for the egg hunt. The event is open to Summit residents only.
