Summit Small Business Saturday: A Guide
The City is also rolling out its own bonus deal rewarding shoppers.
SUMMIT, NJ — The City of Summit is highlighting its many local entrepreneurs this Small Business Saturday.
Parking will be free on all City streets as customers make their way to the many offers that await shoppers at dozens of stores.
Along with special deals at the businesses, Summit Downtown is offering a "buy one, get one" offer that can be redeemed at neighborhood stores.

The inaugural rollout of the program awards every $50 bought in Summit VISA Gift Cards with another $10 bonus. There is a $100 limit on free gift card value per transaction per customer, the City said.
Summit Gift Card purchases that qualify for the free giveaway must be bought at Summit Downtown, Inc.'s office at 18 Bank St., Suite 101 on Nov. 29, Dec. 5, Dec. 12, and Dec. 19 from 1 to 4 p.m.

The day also coincides with the beginning of horse-drawn wagon rides throughout the neighborhood for the holiday season and the HillTop Elf Scavenger Hunt.
The free rides will be available from 1 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 29, Dec. 6, Dec. 13, and Dec. 20 at the corner of Bank Street and Beechwood Road (use 17 Beechwood Rd. for directions). The lines to board end at 3:30 p.m.
Live music, including brass musicians and DJs, is scheduled to appear on the carriage route each weekend.
