Monday

- NJ American Water has scheduled water flushing in Summit today through March 30th. Click here for more information.
- The middle school's 8th grade baseball team begins practice today on Wilson Field from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- The Summit High School Wind Ensemble Festival start today through Thursday.
- Mayor Ellen Dickson will receive the Woman of the Year Award tonight at at dinner sponsored by the Summit Business and Professional Women (BPW) organization.
- Summit Taxpayers Association meets in Room 118 of the Summit Middle School at 7:30pm. On the agenda is a comparitive look at 2012 city and school board tax rates. RSVP to Ed Vant if you plan to attend: edvantjr@aol.com.
- Summit Zoning Board meets to discuss variances on a swimming pool, patio and shed construction on a Madison Avenue property. The meeting takes place at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall.
- Summit Environmental Commission meets at 8p.m. in the Large Conference Room at City Hall.

- The Summit Common Council meets at 7:30 p.m. A resolution for a $30,000 Animal Control Services contract is on the agenda.

- Body & Psyche in Modern and Contemporary Art at the Visual Arts Center from 7:30p.m.-9p.m. is the next in the center's Thursday Salon Series.
