The Summit Police Department informed residents of a temporary bridge closure in the city due to tree removal work.New Jersey Transit will be temporarily closing the bridge on Morris Avenue between Springfield Avenue and Kent Place Boulevard for tree removal work. Police said work is expected to take place on Monday, March 23 through Wednesday, March 25, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Police advised motorists to plan alternate routes of travel as heavy congestion in the area is expected.
