SUMMIT, NJ — New Jersey American Water is continuing work to install new water mains on Morris Avenue between Kent Place Boulevard and River Road, according to an announcement from the City of Summit.
To keep Morris Avenue open as the school year has started, the contractor will be installing the water mains from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday through the end of October, according to the City.
Communications Associate Megan Trindell told Patch that the plan is to close one lane on Morris Ave. and have a police officer onsite to direct traffic.
