Wharton Police Ask Spanish Media for Help in Finding Missing Man
A detective says calls to Univision haven't been returned.
A Wharton detective said he has called on local Spanish-language media to help spread the word on the search for a missing man who lived in Summit. Ronaldo Blanco, 27, who was originally reported missing after he spent some time at a friend's home in Wharton has been missing since around Nov. 19.
"I've left messages for Univision (Channel 41)," Det. Bill Hamilton said about calls to the Spanish-language television station. "But I haven't gotten a call back," he said. New information on the case has been hard to come by. Hamilton calls it "pretty frustrating."
"Usually, you could trace the cell phone or bank activity. There's been no contact whatsoever," Det. Hamilton said in a previous article.
