141 Grams Of Cocaine, Loaded Guns, $25K Seized In Bergen County, 3 Arrested: Police
More than five ounces of cocaine, two loaded guns and $25,000 were seized in Bergen County, leading to the arrest of three men, police said.
TEANECK, NJ — A group of three out-of-state men were caught driving large quantities of suspected narcotics, two loaded handguns and over $25,000 through Bergen County, county Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Kelvin Perez, 36; Joseph Espinal, 22; and Brayan Lebron, 23; each from Lawrence, Massachusetts, were charged with a drug distribution offense, multiple weapons offenses and one count of money laundering, Musella said.
A search of the defendants' vehicle in Teaneck revealed over five ounces of suspected cocaine (141 grams); the two guns, one of which contained hollow-nose bullets; and $25,515, and were subsequently arrested on scene, the prosecutor's office said.

Perez, Espinal and Lebron were charged with first-degree possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, namely cocaine, in a quantity greater than 5 ounces; two counts of second-degree possession of a weapon; two counts of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose; two counts of second-degree possession of a weapon while possessing with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance; third-degree money laundering; and fourth-degree possession of hollow nose bullets.
The defendants were transported to the Bergen County Jail to await their first court appearance.
