UPDATE: Power in Teaneck is expected to be fully restored by about 6 p.m., PSE&G said. About 2,000 customers were without power as of 3:30 p.m. after a pole was damaged in a crash near Fort Lee Road, the company said.

The Teaneck Public Library was without power and check-outs were limited to three times, the library reported on Twitter.

UPDATE: Power has been restored in some areas of Teaneck after an earlier outage. PSEG said service should be fully restored by around 6 p.m.







About 2,000 customers were without power in Teaneck after a vehicle crash downed a utility pole near Fort Lee Road, a company spokeswoman said. Crews were heading to the scene but there was no immediate estimate of when service would be restored.
