Bank Donates $2500 to Zoe’s Place
Donation will support Teaneck-based Zoe's Cupcake Café, according to news release.

The Provident Bank Foundation donated $2,500 to Zoe’s Place, a nonprofit organization that helps pregnant teens, teen moms and their children by providing supervised housing as well as individualized guidance and support services, according to a press release.

“We are extremely appreciative for continued support from The Provident Bank Foundation,” said Miriam Bloom, director of operations for Zoe’s Cupcake Cafe. “This contribution will not only help the Café provide job training and employment opportunities for Zoe’s Place moms, but will also help ensure that these young women will continue to have the resources necessary to thrive.

Since 2003, Zoe’s Place has provided support services for pregnant teens, teen moms and their children. In addition to providing supervised housing, Zoe’s Place offers a bi-monthly Teen Mom Support group, which gives the young women an opportunity to learn from each other, and share their concerns and challenges. The organization also offers a mentoring program, where pregnant teens and teen moms are set up with adult female mentors, as well as an established helpline for girls who need emergency services, information or advocacy for herself and/or her child.
“Zoe’s Place fills an important need in the community, offering support to vulnerable teens that need assistance during a pregnancy and while raising a child,” said Kendall Warsaw, executive director of The Provident Bank Foundation. “We are pleased to support Zoe’s Cupcake Café, which helps these young women learn valuable skills that will ensure a bright future.”
