Candy Truck Overturns on Route 80 in Hackensack
Crash led to road closures in Teaneck and Hackensack, according to state transportation agency.

A tractor-trailer hauling candy overturned on Route 80 in Hackensack Monday morning, forcing police to close the express lanes in both directions and leading to major traffic delays, according to state police.
There were no reports of any serious injuries, but the truck driver had to be extricated by Hackensack firefighters, police said. The truck was also leaked fuel on the highway.
Initial reports said the truck was traveling west in the express lanes when the driver lost control.

Route 80 was closed near Exit 66 in Hackensack, according to the state Transportation Department website. The southbound I-95 ramp from the express lanes to Exit 69 in Teaneck was also blocked, the agency reported Monday afternoon.
