Firefighters were on the scene of a fire in a bathroom at Thomas Jefferson Middle School Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
Crews were dealing with heavy smoke in the bathroom and the school has been evacuated. There were no immediate reports of any injuries and the fire was contained to the bathroom.
