Manhunt Underway For Burglary, Car Theft Suspect: Teaneck Police
Police are searching for a suspect wanted in a burglary of a Teaneck auto repair shop, and in connection with a stolen car, officials said.
TEANECK, NJ — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect wanted for burglarizing a Teaneck business, police Chief Andrew McGurr said.
A man was seen on surveillance footage forcibly entering through the back of Noah Auto Repair Shop on Queen Anne Road just after midnight Friday, thus setting off the alarm. He had pulled up, the video showed, in a GMC Envoy that was reported stolen out of New York, and parked outside, McGurr said.
The suspect had tried to leave the building out the front, but he appeared to have spotted the approaching police car, and instead retreated out the back before running away from the area, the chief said.
