New Milford Police Investigate Two Luring Incidents
Borough police release sketch of man after two incidents reported in New Milford.

New Milford police are investigating a pair of luring incidents reported Thursday in the borough.
In one incident, a 17-year old female reported that after stepping off her school bus at Henley Avenue and Boulevard, she was approached by male in a silver four-door sedan with a squared off front and rear design who asked her if she wanted a ride at around 2:30 p.m., according to New Milford Police Chief Frank Papapietro.
"The victim refused and continued walking thinking nothing further about the incident until she mentioned it later that evening to her family and realized there were other incidents in the area," Papapietro said.

Another incident was reported at around 8:15 a.m. Thursday near Faller Drive and River Road. A 10-year old female and her 7-year old brother said that while walking to school a white male in a parked silver four-door sedan rolled down his window and tried to make conversation with them as they walked past, but they ran away, police said.
In both cases, the driver was described as a white male in his mid-40's with a prominently large nose.
