Tung first learned of the relationship in 2010 and stalked Cantor, eventually confronting him at his home the night before he was found dead, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli has said.
Tung had gone to Cantor’s home three times before the fatal confrontation, Molinelli told Patch last year. In one visit, Tung allegedly demanded to see the bedroom where his wife and Cantor had sex.

According to prosecutors, Tung erased information from his computer hard drive following the murder.
The killing sparked concern in Teaneck from residents worried it could be linked to the unsolved slaying of Joan Davis and from some of Cantor’s friends, who criticized the prosecutor’s office over the pace of the investigation. Tung was arrested more than a year after the slaying, but Molinelli said his office assigned scores of investigators to develop a solid case.
Tung was being held Tuesday at the Bergen County Jail on $3 million bail, according to sheriff’s office records. His attorney could not be immediately reached for comment.
