A 26-year-old <a href="https://teaneck.patch.com" rel="nofollow">Teaneck</a> man was in custody Thursday after <a href="http://www.northjersey.com/bogota/Teaneck_man_charged_with_reckless_driving_in_Bogota.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">he led Bogota police on a chase</a> ending on Interstate 95, according to a NorthJersey.com report. Uri Elam was charged with eluding and was being held at the Bergen County Jail on $10,000 bail, records show. Bogota police also reportedly charged him with reckless driving and failure to yield. The incident began around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday when Elam allegedly sped along Larch Avenue in Bogota doing about 70 miles per hour and nearly flipped his pick-up truck, police said in the report. Officers caught up with him near Exit 72 in <a href="https://fortlee.patch.com" rel="nofollow">Fort Lee</a>.
