A new supply of blue recycling cans is available for residents at the Department of Public Works, according to the township.  Each residence is entitled to one free 20-gallon blue recycling can for paper products. Yellow recycling cans will still be used for commingled recyclables, aluminum, metal and Styrofoam products. Additional recycling cans and lids can be purchased as followed: 20-gallon blue recycling can, $15; 32-gallon yellow recycling can, $20; lids for either can, $7 apiece. Payment for additional receptacles must be made by check only, payable to Township of Teaneck. Cans may be picked up Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
