Teaneck Woman Charged with Assault Outside Regina's Steakhouse

Christell Perez, 21, of Teaneck allegedly hit another woman with a glass mug outside the Teaneck Road restaurant

A 21-year-old Teaneck woman is facing assault and weapons charges after she allegedly struck a Bogota woman outside of early Saturday morning with a glass mug.

According to  Sgt. William Croonquist, Christell Perez, of Teaneck got into a verbal argument outside of the Teaneck Road restaurant around 1:15am with a Bogota resident.

The altercation turned violent after the Bogota resident allegedly punched Perez who in turn retaliated by striking the victim with the mug.

Both women were transported to  for minor injuries. Perez was later released after posting bail for charges of aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.
