Soldiers from the Teaneck Armory paid tribute to the 26 people killed in a Connecticut elementary school shooting with a ceremony in Afghanistan.

Members of the 508th Military Police Company, stationed out of Teaneck, paused on New Year's Eve for a flag raising ceremony in honor of those killed in the Newtown elementary school massacre.

Now serving in Afghanistan, the troops read quotes to remember the young victims in a show of support with the Newtown community.
