Teaneck Car Fire Spreads, Damages Home

No injuries were reported, according to authorities.

TEANECK, NJ – A Teaneck home was damaged Wednesday afternoon after a car fire in the driveway spread to the house, according to authorities.

Around 4:30 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to Tilden Avenue on a report of a heavily involved car fire that had extended into the home. Firefighters from Hackensack and Englewood also arrived, the department said.

Due to unconfirmed reports of people trapped in the home, Ridgefield Park, Bergenfield and Bogota were also dispatched to the scene, while Leonia Fire Department covered Teaneck, the department said.

No one was in the car at the time or in the home, and no injuries were reported.
