Teaneck Firefighters Go Pink to Fight Breast Cancer

Teaneck firefighters are sporting pink t-shirts as part of an effort to raise money and awareness in the fight against breast cancer, the department announced. 

The town’s fire crews were given permission to wear the pink shirts under their standard uniforms, and the firefighter and officer unions will donate $5 to fund breast cancer research for every alarm they handle in October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
