Teaneck Residents Inducted Into National Honor Society

Two residents at Jersey City school make the cut for honor society

The following information was submitted by Saint Peter's Preparatory School

Fifty-seven seniors were inducted as members of the McNally-Sinnott Chapter of the National Honor Society at Saint Peter's Preparatory School in Jersey City during a ceremony on October 22, 2013, recognizing their excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. Highlights of the induction ceremony included reflections on the four areas of excellence that have defined NHS members since the society’s creation in 1921, given by the chapter's officers for this year. Incoming president Andrew Mauro of Bloomfield spoke on leadership; vice president Conor Finn of Westfield on scholarship; Alexander Gill of Bayonne on character, and Michael Fernandes of Newark on service.  The moderators of the National Honor Society are faculty members Sr. Frances Marie Duncan, OSF and Michael Settembrino.  Teaneck residents Barrington Bennet and Ryan Berger were inducted.
