Teaneck to Dedicate Holocaust Book Collection

Community invited to event at Teaneck High School

The school district will host a public dedication Thursday night for Teaneck High School's collection of hundreds of donated books about the Holocaust, the district announced.

The dedication will be held at the high school's media center beginning at 7 p.m., according to the district. The books are available to the entire Teaneck community.

"Teaneck High School's Holocaust Center received two large donations of books during the past two years from the families of concentration camp survivors who had amassed huge personal libraries before they passed away," a district announcement said. "These books were given to the Center for use by the larger Teaneck community, and the entire collection, over 600 books, is now housed in the beautiful sitting area in the back of the media center."
