Tuesday in Teaneck: Council Meeting, Late Night Voter Registration

The Township Clerk's office will be open until 9 p.m. for residents to register to vote in the Aug. 13 special primary election. Voter registration ends Tuesday for the primary. 

"Township Clerk, Jaime L. Evelina, RMC reminds eligible voters that the Voter Registration Office in the Municipal Building is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays for persons interested in applying to register to vote," the clerk's office said in a news release. 

The Teaneck Chamber of Commerce will host a free information session at Holy Name Medical Center about group health insurance options for small businesses. The event will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Details are available at the Teaneck Chamber's website. 

The town council will meet at the Municipal Building, with the public portion of the meeting opening at 8 p.m.
