2023 Robbery Leads To Prison Sentence For Toms River Woman
Olivia A. Paige had pleaded guilty in a robbery in Lakewood and to cocaine distribution in Brick, the prosecutor's office said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Toms River woman has been sentenced to seven years in prison in a robbery she committed in Lakewood in 2023, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced Monday.
Olivia A. Paige, 35, was sentenced on Friday by Superior Court Judge Guy P. Ryan in the robbery in Lakewood, along with two other cases in which Paige pleaded guilty before Ryan on April 22, 2024, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Lakewood police responded to a robbery report on Clifton Avenue on Aug. 29, 2023, and were told by the victim that she was approached by a woman who brandished a knife and demanded money, authorities said. The victim handed over money and the woman took it and ran away. The victim gave officers a detailed description of the woman — later identified as Paige — and she was found a short time later at a local restaurant, authorities said.

On April 14, 2023, Paige was arrested in Lakewood after she was found shouting profanity and "acting in an erratic manner" on First Street, authorities said. As officers tried to arrest Paige, she spit in their faces, authorities said.
Paige was sentenced to 3 years in prison on the cocaine possession charge, and to 18 months in prison on a charge of aggravated assault for spitting on the police officers, authorities said.
All three sentences run concurrently, the prosecutor's office said.
The robbery sentence is subject to the No Early Release Act, meaning that Paige will be required to serve at least 85 percent of her prison sentence before she may be considered for parole eligibility.
Paige has been in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River since her arrest on Aug. 29,2023.
Senior Assistant Prosecutor Shanon Chant-Berry handled the cases on behalf of the state. The Lakewood Township Police Department and Brick Township Police Department collaborated on the investigation.
