TOMS RIVER, NJ - A downed pole and wires in Toms River have prompted commuting delays in the area Wednesday morning, authorities said.

As of 4:09 a.m., there’s a downed pole and wires on Route 70 in both directions near CR 527/Whitesville Road in Toms River, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently open, the agency said.
