1 Person Injured Following Multi-Vehicle Crash In Wall, Police Say

The crash occurred Monday morning when a vehicle overturned after hitting another vehicle stopped in traffic, police said.

WALL, NJ — One person was injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Wall Township on Monday morning, Wall Police Lt. Steven Nash told Patch.

At 7:38 a.m. on Monday, Wall Township Emergency Services responded to the crash on Route 138, east of the Allenwood Road intersection.

According to Nash, the crash occurred in the eastbound lanes and involved a rear-end collision, where a vehicle overturned after hitting another vehicle that was stopped in traffic.

Following the crash, emergency crews extricated the driver from the overturned vehicle, Nash said.

The driver was brought to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and no other injuries were reported.

Traffic was impacted for about one hour as crews worked to clear the scene and reopen the road.
