2 DWI Checkpoints Planned In Monmouth County: See Where

During the checkpoints, members of the county's DWI Task Force will work alongside officers from local police departments.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting two checkpoints over the weekend, Task Force Coordinator Michael Schneider said.

On Friday, the first checkpoint will take place in Sea Girt from 9 p.m. on Friday until 1 a.m. on Saturday.

All southbound vehicles on Route 71 will be diverted into the Sea Girt Professional Building, where drivers will be screened for their sobriety, Schneider said.

The second DWI checkpoint will be on Saturday in Wall Township from 10 p.m. on Saturday until 2 a.m. on Sunday.

All drivers going westbound on Route 138 will be diverted onto Maxwell Road, where drivers will be screened for their sobriety.

During both checkpoints, members of the DWI Task Force will work alongside local police officers for the duration of each event, Schneider said.
