'Adolescent Resilience' To Be Theme Of Wall Schools Forum
There will a Red Ribbon Parent Forum in Wall on Wednesday, Dec. 6, with several mental health and addiction experts on the panel.

WALL, NJ — Parents' role in helping their adolescent child become "resilient" is the topic of the 10th annual Wall Red Ribbon Parent Forum.
"Parental Influence on Adolescent Resilience" will be discussed by various professionals at a meeting Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Wall High School's Eva Applegate Auditorium at 7 p.m., the district announced.
From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be community outreach tables and giveaways at the talk.

The program's goal is to raise awareness, says Student Assistance Counselor Alysa Fornarotto-Regenye.
"This will make people aware as we are in the middle of the holiday season - the most challenging time of year for families struggling with addiction and other mental health conditions," she said.

Here are speakers who will be at the event - speakers she said are all accomplished in their fields with important messages for the community and parents:
- Samantha Keller: executive director, Freehold, High Focus Centers
- Ken Pecoraro, division director, CPC Integrated Health
- Steve Willis, co-founder: Hope Sheds Light, Inc.
The keynote speakers will be Megan Reeves, Center for Network Therapy, and Sgt. Jack Granlich, Wall Township Police Department.
