Downed Power Lines Close Route 34 In Wall
The road will be closed north and southbound between Belmar Blvd. and Wyckoff Road until further notice, police said.
WALL, NJ — Route 34 northbound and southbound are closed at Belmar Blvd. and Wyckoff Road due to downed power lines, Wall Police said.
The road was first closed shortly after noon on Friday due to the downed power lines and a small brush fire.
At 3:30 p.m., police said the NJ Department of Transportation was on-site with crews working to remedy the situation.

As of 4:16 p.m. on Friday, police said Route 34 northbound and southbound between Belmar Blvd. and Wyckoff Road will remain closed until further notice.
Utility companies are currently on-site working to resolve the situation.
