Cleanup Continues On Route 34N In Wall After Tree Takes Down Pole
Late afternoon traffic was snarled when a tree fell down near Route 34 north at Allenwood Road in Wall, also causing power outages.

WALL, NJ — Traffic on Route 34 north at Allenwood Road was still down to one lane Thursday night after a tree fell in the area earlier in the afternoon, taking some wires with it, police said.
Police said work was still being done to clear the area as of 7:30 p.m. and utility crews will have to come in to replace a utility pole that was downed by the tree.
Power was out intermittently earlier. However police said more outages can be expected as the new utility pole is installed. Police said in a post to expect any planned outage to last about one hour.
