School Security Officers In Wall Receive 'Critical Incident' Training
Wall school security officers completed specialized training as part of the Police Department's Safe School Initiative.

WALL, NJ — As part of its Safe School Initiative, members of the Wall Township Police Department conducted special training for school security officers assigned to township schools.
The officers received critical incident and active assailant response training in which individual officers responded to the incidents. Officers also received classroom instruction and practical hands-on training, the department said.
"The safety of our township’s educational facilities is of paramount importance to the Wall Township Police Department and this training is part of our agency’s Safe School Initiative," Police Chief Sean O'Halloran said.

The school district serves approximately 3,650 students in grades Pre-K through 12, including a primary school, four elementary schools, an intermediate school, and a high school, according to the district website.
