Traffic Stop In Wall Leads To Investigation, Multiple Drug Arrests

WALL, NJ — A motor vehicle stop on Thursday resulted in the arrest of a Wall man wanted on a warrant, as well his arrest - and that of three women at a motel - on drug possession charges, including for heroin, Wall police said.

Anthony Cicerello III, 35, of Wall, was arrested after the traffic stop, police said. A follow-up investigation resulted in the other arrests, officials said.

The first incident began on Jan. 26, at approximately 12:30 p.m., when Patrolman James Yanazzonne stopped a car on Highway 35 and Wall Church Road for motor vehicle violations, police said.

During the stop, a passenger in the car fled the scene on foot. After a short foot chase, Yannazzone was able to apprehend Cicerello, police said in a news release.

Cicerello had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was additionally charged with possession of heroin, crack cocaine, methamphetamine; four counts of possession of prescription narcotics without a prescription; resisting arrest; hindering his own apprehension; obstruction; destruction of evidence; possession with intent to distribute a narcotic; and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Cicerello was charged at Wall Township Police Headquarters and then brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold, pending a future court appearance.

A follow-up investigation took place later that day at a nearby motel in the township by Wall Township police detectives, including the Patrol Division with Yannazzone, police said in the news release.

Police said that, as a result of the investigation, officers obtained a search warrant for a motel room and arrested the following persons:

Heather Dockery, 38, Keyport, was charged with possession of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, prescription narcotics without a prescription, and drug paraphernalia. She was brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, pending a future court appearance.

Kassidy Lutz, 28, Wall Township, was charged with possession of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, prescription narcotics without a prescription, and drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons complaint.

Melanie Allen, 38, Keyport, was charged with possession of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, prescription narcotics without a prescription, and drug paraphernalia. She was brought to Monmouth County Correctional Institution, pending a future court appearance.
