Two Charged With Grocery Store Shoplifting In Wall, Police Say

Two incidents of shoplifting in Wall were among arrests reported in weekly police report.

WALL, NJ — Police reported two recent arrests for shoplifting at grocery stores in the township.

On Sunday, April 7, at 3 p.m., Ptl. Kevin Wagner arrested a 65-year-old Shrewsbury resident for shoplifting at the ShopRite on Route 34.

On April 2, at 7:30 p.m., Ptl. Tyler Martin arrested a Wall resident, 55, for shoplifting at the Foodtown on Route 35.

Both were processed and released with a future court date.

  • April 2: Ptl. Tyler Martin made a motor vehicle stop on Route 35 at 16th Ave. at 1 a.m., resulting in the arrest of Wall resident, 34, on an active warrant from Wall. He was transported to the Monmouth County Jail.
  • April 2: At 10:15 p.m., a Wall resident was arrested by Ptl. Alexandra Clayton and charged with criminal mischief. He was processed and released with a future court date.
  • April 7: At 12:06 a.m., Ptl. Tyler Martin made a motor vehicle stop on Route 34 and a arrested a Lakewood woman, 38, for driving while intoxicated. She was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.
