Wall Police Give Impaired Driving Seminar To High School Students
Students were put through a series of practical exercises while wearing fatal vision goggles, police said.
WALL, NJ — The Wall Township Police Department educated the entire junior class at Wall High School on the importance of safe driving and the consequences of alcohol and drug use behind the wheel.
On March 24 and 25, police educated some of Wall's newest drivers about how these substances alter driving behavior and the specific laws that could limit their licenses. Several practical exercises were assigned to students during the presentation.
To emphasize the importance of making wise decisions, police had students wear fatal vision goggles that simulate the senses of a substance-impaired person.
