Amazon Bringing Its 4-Star Store To Willowbrook, American Dream

WAYNE, NJ - Amazon plans to open two brick-and-mortar stores in New Jersey.

While an exact timeline is not yet known, the online retail giant plans to bring its Amazon 4-Star outlet stores to American Dream in East Rutherford and Willowbrook Mall in Wayne sometime this year, according to its website.

Amazon 4-Star is a physical store where everything on sale is rated 4 stars and above, is a top seller or is new and trending on Amazon.com. It features a rotating product assortment curated from the most popular categories on Amazon.com, such as electronics, toys, books, games, music, kitchenware and furnishings.

There are 4-Star stores in seven states currently, including California, Washington, New York and Colorado, and plans to expand during the course of 2020.

The stores were launched in 2018 to serve as “a place where customers can discover products they will love,” Amazon said on its website. “Amazon 4-star’s selection is a direct reflection of our customers—what they’re buying and what they’re loving.

All customers can shop at the store, however Amazon Prime members will receive the best prices. Non-Prime members pay list price on all products unless they are Amazon items, according to Amazon’s website.

Besides 4-Star stores, the company also has Amazon Books, Amazon Pop-Up shops and Amazon Go locations. Westfield Garden State Plaza is Paramus is home to an Amazon Books store.
